 Away To Travel/Cruise Connection is a full-service travel agency and our experts have over 20 years of experience in the travel industry.  We specialize in group travel as well as cruise and leisure vacation packages around the world.  We are dedicated to the concept that the only thing that sets us apart from our competion is our personal service and expert knowledge of the destinations we serve.  Our goal is to find the best travel values for our clients.

Barbara Lamel, CTC, MCC is founder and owner of Away To Travel/Cruise Connection.  She has travelled extensively both on land and cruise throughout the world and has personally led numerous groups on a variety of excursions.  She is a Certified Travel Counselor and Master Cruise Counselor, as well as a Hawaii and Mexico Specialist.  She has served on the board of the Southern California Chapter of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents).

Stu Rutkin, CTA is an independent travel counselor and partner in Away To Travel/Cruise Connection.  He has also travelled extensively and is a Certified Oahu Specialist, as well as a Mexico and Costa Rica Specialist.  He has been an officer and board member of the Southern California Chapter of ASTA.
